About Fischers' on the Green

Formerly Fischers' White House, Fischers' on the Green has been a staple in fine dining in the Chippewa Valley for over 60 years. Since its inception, Fischers' has known that quality ingredients result in fabulous meals.

Our restaurant is within the Hillcrest Country Club. While the golf course is private, the restaurant is open to the public and serves dinner Monday through Saturday. To complement our full Midwestern and Mediterranean-inspired menu, Fischers' offers a stellar, award-winning wine list and is a recipient of the prestigious Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.

In addition to our fine dining restaurant, Fischers' Cocktail Lounge offers a variety of happy hour specials and live entertainment. Banquet facilities and catering are also available.


What Sets Us Apart
Our dry aged beef sets us apart from other restaurants in the surrounding Eau Claire area. This process of aging beef was very common 40 years ago, but since the creation of vacuum sealed packs, it has long since dissipated and usually only seen in fine dining restaurants or upscale grocery markets.

Our beef is dry-aged for 12 days on site. During this process a crust forms on the outside. This layer is trimmed away, leaving steaks that are superior in tenderness and flavor. During the dry aging process, 25% of the beef is lost, but the juices are absorbed into the meat, enhancing the flavor and tenderizing the steaks. All of our steaks are hand-cut to order, ensuring the freshest cut of meat in town.
